So you think you can GOURMET? Here’s who we are, why and how we do what we do.

Gourmet Potlucks was brewed up by the enterprising minds of friends reunited in Pittsburgh, PA after years of separation to stumble upon a shared interest. I’ll give you a clue, it’s delicious. There was also a shared ignorance about the wonders of the culinary universe so we decided to pick up our spatulas, tie our aprons and head to the pages of back issues  of Gourmet Magazine to guide us in our search for edible enlightenment .

Here’s the concept:

For every month of the year, there’s at least one Gourmet Magazine from the years 1990-1991 sitting at my house. And for every issue, there’s a Gourmet Menu that has been especially engineered by the experts on the magazine staff to be the best menu ever.

Our job at Gourmet Potlucks is to find a group of dedicated individuals to each take responsibility for one of the items on the menu, bring it to the common table and enjoy a beautifully plated and prepared gourmet experience.
